Water night is almost here! Please bring your rocket and wear the yellow Pack 788 t-shirts (Class B uniform).
On Monday, July 17th starting at 6:30 pm at Christ Church Episcopal we will be having an awesome water night activity. We will be launching water propelled bottle rockets that the Scouts design.
Scouts and siblings, using a 2-liter plastic soda bottle, can work on designing and building the awesomest and highest flying bottle rocket ever. For some help and guidance, you will find attached two PDF files to reference. There are also numerous websites, videos and additional references on-line. The pack will provide the launching equipment - you and your Scout just need to design and build your own bottle rocket.
There will be bragging right opportunities for engineering, design, and highest flying and there will be a special summer treat for everyone to enjoy.
Scouts may invite one friend interested in joining Pack 788. Please send their parents email address to Doug Popik (dpopik@gmail.com) so that the Cubmaster can officially invite them. It is a requirement for friends attendance. Hope you can join us.
Join us Monday, July 23 @ 6:30pm for Water Rocket Night! Use a 2-liter plastic bottle to design a rocket. You will fill it with water and launch it at the event. Whose rocket will soar the highest? Siblings are welcome to join the fun as well. See you all on Monday!
The Cub Scout organization offers a wonderful program where boys can have fun while learning core values that will last a lifetime.
Pack 788 is now enrolling new members. Any boy in the 1st through 5th grades can join. It doesn't matter whether you are new to the scouting experience or if you have been a member of another pack.
