Pack leadership encourages parents of Pack 788 scouts to attend the December leader committee meeting (Sunday, December 11 at 7:00 PM in the Education Building - second floor).
This would be a great opportunity to learn more about how the pack operates. Pack 788 is run entirely by parent volunteers, and those volunteers shape the Cub Scout experience for your sons. We are not necessarily asking for volunteers to fill leadership roles - we are just extending an invitation for any interested parents to get a "behind the scenes" look at pack operations. Of course, there are opportunities for parents to help with specific activites and events if you want to be more involved.
If you would like to attend, please RSVP to tr.tyler@ymail.com before December 9.
Committee meetings are for leaders and parents only (no scouts, please).
The new scouting year is fast approaching! The leaders of Pack 788 have started preparing, planning and coordinating the new scouting year’s events. So in response to the survey taken at our Family Picnic where a large number of you indicated that you would like to take a larger role in Pack 788’s leadership we have a place for you! We are activity seeking Committee Members to help direct the Pack. This is a position that meets once a month, typically on Sunday evenings at the church. We review Pack finances, past events and plan for future events. This is great opportunity to increase your involvement in your own scout’s progress. Our leadership has always had the strong desire to have the parents direct the Pack and this is a great way for more parents to get involved.
