Scout Night at University of Richmond Basketball Game
Sunday, February 8th
It is that time of year for Pack 788’s outing to see our very own Richmond Spiders take on Rhode Island on Sunday, Feb. 8th. As always, there will be a great basketball clinic held prior to the game. Registration and payment for the event will be taken on Monday night (January, 19th) when you drop off your derby car. We need to get your registration and payment as soon as possible so we can reserve spots for the basketball clinic which go fast. Those Scouts and parents who have participated in the clinic and game in the past know how great of an event this is. Hope you can join us. The Pack will pay for the Scouts' tickets, you just have to pay for family members attending.
Due to the anticipated weather from the approaching hurricane, the Scout Parent Workshop meeting originally scheduled for October 5th has been moved to Monday, October 12th. We will meet at 6:30 in The Garage building at Christ Church.
This year, we will celebrate Scout Sunday on February 7, 2016 at Christ Church Episcopal, the sponsoring organization of Pack 788. Participating scouts will receive a 2016 Scout Sunday Patch.
If your scout is signed up to volunteer at the Scout Sunday service, please arrive at Christ Church at 10:15. All scouts participating in the Scout Sunday service are required to wear the full Class A uniform (blue or tan button-down shirt, neckerchief and slide, hat and belt).
